Technical Support
Once we've completed the design and deployment of your new site you
are not left to sink or swim! We are very aware that most of our
clients are not very technical and will need our ongoing support and
assistance.
In the first instance, at the point of handing over
the site we will provide full training in how to use the content
management system to edit and add to your content, and we also provide
full telephone support and technical support for the first year.
Unlike
conventional "flat HTML" sites, content managed sites do require
ongoing maintenance: the content management system is a software
program running on the server, and from time to time it needs upgrade
and maintenance to maintain performance and minimise any security risks.
Annual support programmes start from only £73.44 including VAT per month* (depending upon the specification of the system and any additional components installed, and include:
Hosting and single domain renewals
Critical system upgrade and maintenance
Routine non critical upgrades
Server and hosting support (including e-mail)
Telephone support
CMS training
Assistance with minor changes and modifications to content
Adjustments to templates to accommodate minor changes to content and to
maintain browser compatibility (full template redesigns are not
included).
*Support is included in the first year of site ownership. Annual support programmes are only required from year 2 onwards.
